“The Yo-kai Watch and FINAL FANTASY XIV collaboration event is underway! Join Jibanyan, Whisper, and the other Yo-kai as they gather in Eorzea. By befriending them, you can obtain special rewards such as collaborative weapons, minions, and even mounts! But you’d better hurry—these exclusive items are only obtainable during the event!

Yo-kai Watch: Gather One, Gather All! is a special event that took place from July 26, 2016 to October 3, 2016.
This was a collaboration event in conjunction with Level 5's video game franchise Yo-kai Watch.

Guide
- Start the event quest, A Complete Game Changer, by speaking to Poor-heeled Youth in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald (x9.2, y9.1). Player must be level 15 or higher and have completed
The Gridanian Envoy, The Lominsan Envoy or The Ul'dahn Envoy quest.
- Completing the quest will reward the player with a
Yo-kai Watch and a 
Yo-kai Medallium which players can use to obtain 
Yo-kai Medals.
- Yo-kai Medals are obtained by completing FATEs with a Silver or Gold rating in any of the following locations while the Yo-kai Watch is equipped:
- La Noscea: Middle La Noscea, Lower La Noscea, Western La Noscea, Upper La Noscea, Outer La Noscea
- Thanalan: Central Thanalan, Western Thanalan, Eastern Thanalan, Southern Thanalan
- The Black Shroud: Central Shroud, East Shroud, South Shroud, North Shroud
- Coerthas: Coerthas Western Highlands,
- Dravania: Dravanian Forelands, The Churning Mists, Dravanian Hinterlands
- Abalathia's Spine: The Sea of Clouds, Azys Lla
- Gyr Abania: The Fringes, The Peaks, The Lochs
- Othard: The Ruby Sea, Yanxia, The Azim Steppe
- After collecting Yo-kai Medals, speak with Nohi in Gold Saucer (x5.2, y6.9). You can buy Yo-kai Minions by exchanging medals you collect.
- Note: The grind was reduced for Shadowbringers re-runs.
- The first minion you collect takes 1 medal. Minions after that take 3 medals each to obtain. To buy all minions, you will need a total of 49 Yo-kai Medals. 1 Medal is provided as a reward for the starting quest.
- You can obtain Legendary Yo-kai Medals by completing FATEs in the specific zones with Silver or Gold rating while having your Yo-kai Minions out. You do not need to have the Yo-kai Watch equipped. Each minion allows you to obtain Legendary Yo-kai Medals corresponding to the minion. Check the FATE locations below for more details.
- The drop rate of Legendary Medals is not guaranteed.
- Make sure that auto-umbrella (in Fashion Accessories) is disabled as that may prevent minion spawning when raining.
- You can exchange the Legendary Yo-kai Medals for Yo-kai Weapons. Different medals correspond to different weapons. Each new weapon costs 10 Legendary Yo-kai Medals, with the initial weapon costing only 5 Legendary Medals.
- Originally for Heavensward (2016), there were a total of 13 Yo-kai Minions and 13 Yo-kai Weapons you could collect. Obtaining 13 Yo-kai minions would reward the
Whisper-go mount, while obtaining 13 Yo-kai weapons would reward the 
Whisper A-go-go mount.
- In Stormblood (2017), no new minions or weapons were added.
- In Shadowbringers (2020), there were a total of 17 Yo-kai minions and 17 Yo-kai weapons. By obtaining 17 Yo-kai weapons, you would obtain the
Jibanyan Couch mount
- In Endwalker (2024), no new minions or weapons were added. However, upon befriending all 17 Yo-kai minions, you can speak with Nohi at the Gold Saucer (x5.2, y6.9) to purchase a
Yo-kai Watch Framer's Kit for 20,000 
MGP.
- This is also an excellent opportunity to farm Atmas for the Zodiac Weapons if you happen to also be working on that. Simply ensure that you have completed the quest
Up in Arms and have a Zenith tier relic weapon equipped, and you can farm Yo-kai medals and Atmas simultaneously.
- Similarly, having the quest For Want of a Memory for at least one Shadowbringers relic will yield Tortured Memory of the Dying, Sorrowful Memory of the Dying and Harrowing Memory of the Dying when farming FATEs in their respective Heavensward zones.

Obtain medals by earning a Silver or better rating in FATEs in certain quest-specified areas while wearing your Yo-kai Watch.

2016 and 2017 runs
In the first two runs of the event, the cost of minions and weapons scaled up drastically. Starting with the 2020 run, the lower costs mentioned above are used instead.

* Outer La Noscea has a two-FATE chain: 
Making the Rounds and Full Metal Alchemist, that can be chained indefinitely (i.e., after clearing one, the other will spawn immediately), making it an efficient choice for farming.

I cannot imagine how you could possibly carry such an arsenal, let alone actually use it, but I feel congratulations are in order. And it would appear that another unlikely event is about to unfold, for my friend the minstrel has returned from his wandering. Wandering Minstrel: I do hope I am not interrupting your celebrations...but am I to understand that someone has at last collected a full set of those charming instruments of destruction? A fine achievement, even if only for achievement's sake. Nohi: To have done so in such a short span of time is commendable indeed. Perhaps I should have charged more for them? Wandering Minstrel: If you had, I have no doubt this fine young adventurer would have risen to the challenge regardless. But rather than speak on your behalf, mayhap you might share your thoughts on this momentous undertaking?
