Moonfire Faire (2015) is a special event that took place from August 11, 2015 to September 7, 2015.
“The realm now basks in the golden glow of the summer sun, its cities adorned with balloons and streamers. And the glittering flash of fireworks over the shores of Costa del Sol can only mean one thing—the Moonfire Faire, the fiery festival by which we celebrate the season. Hosted by the Adventurers' Guild, they mean to help the people of Eorzea grow more familiar with their deeds. But alas, this year they are understaffed, and want for assistance. To those who would ensure the celebration is a sizzling success, pray seek out Haermaga, grand chaperone of this year's Moonfire Faire.

Guide
Speak to Haermaga in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (x11,y13) to start the event. Follow the questline.
To obtain rewards, players can obtain Faire Tokens. These tokens are obtained by completing certain FATEs, repeatable culinarian quest named A Matter of Taste and repeatable fisher quest called What's in the Dish.
Fast Tokens
A quick way to get tokens is to complete the culinarian quest A Matter of Taste for C'zibho Tia. The quest requires the player to craft Battered Fish, a level 5 recipe.
Recipe:
- 1x Haddock (4 gil from Festive Fisher, right next to the quest giver)
- 1x Popoto (Gathered from level 16 nodes in Eastern Thanalan)
- 1x Table Salt (2gil from the Sahagin Vendor, purchasable at base reputation)
- 1x Olive Oil (8 gil from the Sahagin Vendor, purchasable at base reputation)
