Located in the vast expans of the Northern Empty, Aerslaent has long been protected by indomitable bastions, heritors of the ancient martial techniques developed over generations by the archipelago's rulers.

It is said that no raider's axe can penetrate a bastion's hulking skyltborg—and one would be foolish to try, for these shap-changing greatshields' aetherial artillery has brought a swift end to many a marauder, be it from near or far.

Bastion (???) is a  Tank job to be released with the Evercold (8.0) expansion. It is unlockable at level 90 and does not have a base class. Bastion is only available in Evolved Mode and is designed for the Main Tank role.

• Quest: Speak to ??? in Limsa Lominsa to obtain the quest ???.

The bastion is a disciple of war and wears armor and accessories "of Fending". They use skyltborg as weapons.
