GARO
GARO is a special event that took place from 01/16/2017 (Patch 3.5) to 10/29/2019 (Patch 5.1).

The GARO event is a Collaboration Event with the GARO TV show in Japan. It consist of new gear, titles, and mounts obtained through PvP.
Repeat
- This event was repeated a second time on April 11, 2022 (Patch 6.1) to an unannounced end date, updated for Shadowbringers and Endwalker jobs. [1]
Getting Started
To participate in the GARO event, talk to the Disreputable Priest (X 5.0,Y 5.3) at the Wolves' Den Pier. Class-specific gear sets and weapons can be bought with 
Wolf Mark. After obtaining the weapon and full five-piece set of GARO gear for each class, present the equipped character to the disreputable priest to gain a GARO title for that class. Accessories (and in the case of 
Paladins, the shield) are not required for obtaining a title.
After receiving a title, win in Frontline and Crystalline Conflict matches with the titles equipped to complete achievements and receive the mounts.
Once a title has been earned, the gear associated with that title will become available for repurchase from the Calamity Salvager for 
Gil. This applies to both genders' gear, even if only one gender's gear was purchased in the process of earning the title. However, the Calamity Salvager will not sell the GARO accessories and shield, as they are not required to earn the titles.
- Note that the GARO shield is invisible, making it visually the same as
The Emperor's New Shield.
Updates for patch 6.1
Trade Wolf Marks for GARO gear by speaking to the Disreputable Priest at the Wolves' Den Pier (X:5.0 Y:5.3).
Items resembling the GARO gear can also be purchased with 
MGP at the Gold Saucer Attendant in the Manderville Gold Saucer (X:5.4 Y:6.6).
- These Glamour-only items cannot be used to earn titles, and are undyable. However, they have a level requirement of 1 instead of 60.
- This NPC does not sell lookalikes of the accessories.
The following adjustments have been made for this edition of the collaboration:
- Feast achievements progress kept, but Crystalline Conflict added to achievements to allow further progress.
- Rival Wings added as an option to Frontline achievements.
Gunbreaker and 
Reaper gear have been added.
Samurai, 
Red Mage, Gunbreaker, 
Dancer, Reaper, and 
Sage achievement titles have been added.
