Thaumaturge

Disciples of Magic (DoM) are classes and jobs that utilize magic and cast destructive and restorative spells. They use MP as their primary resource.

DoM Starting Classes

Conjurer

Conjurer

Conjurer is the healer class in A Realm Reborn. Conjurers utilize wands and canes as their weapons and earth and wind as their elements. They must become White Mages at level 30.

• The Conjurer's Guild is located in Gridania.

Thaumaturge

Thaumaturge is the Magical Ranged DPS class with specialization in consistent damage. Thaumaturge utilize scepters and staves as their weapons and fire, ice and thunder as their elements. They must become Black Mages at level 30.

• The Thaumaturge's Guild is located in Ul'dah.

Arcanist

Arcanist is the Magical Ranged DPS class with specialization in burst damage. Arcanists use Books as their primary weapons and are able to spawn smaller version of primals to aid them in combat. They must become Summoners (DPS) or Scholars (Healer) at level 30.

• The Arcanist's Guild is located in Limsa Lominsa.

Expansion Jobs

Astrologian

Astrologian was introduced as a Healer job with the Heavensward expansion. They start at level 30 and utilize two-handed Star globes.

• The Astrologian's Guild is located in The Pillars. The job is unlocked by completing the quest What's Your Sign.

Red Mage

Red Mage was introduced as a Magical Ranged DPS job with the Stormblood expansion. They start at level 50 and utilize Rapiers.

• Red Mages have no guild and are instead unlocked by completing the quest Taking the Red.

Blue Mage

Blue Mage was introduced as a Magical Ranged DPS Limited job with Patch 4.5 of the Stormblood expansion. They start at level 1 and utilize Canes.

• Blue Mages have no guild and are instead unlocked by completing the quest Out of the Blue.

Sage

Sage was introduced as a Healer job with the Endwalker expansion. They start at level 70 and utilize Nouliths.

• Sages have no guild and are instead unlocked by completing the quest Sage's Path.

Pictomancer

Pictomancer was introduced as a Magical Ranged DPS job with the Dawntrail expansion. They start at level 80 and utilize Brushes.

• Pictomancer have no guild and are instead unlocked by completing the quest The Joy of Pictomancy.
