“"However much it hurts, and however hard it gets, it's my life, and I want to live it on my own terms!"
A maiden of seventeen summers, Ryne inherited Minfilia's soul and wields the power of the Oracle of Light. She was taken into Eulmoran custody as a child, and prior to her liberation by Thancred at the age of fourteen, had lived almost her entire life as a prisoner. Having thus been deprived of a normal upbringing, she had difficulty interacting with others at first, and gave the impression of being younger than her years, but while roaming the land with Thancred, the Hume girl learned the ways of the world along with the arts of combat.
As she fought alongside the Warrior of Darkness to restore blessed night to the First, Ryne found her purpose as well as the courage to fulfill it. Though she had been known as Minfilia until that point, after being entrusted with her namesake's legacy, she began to forge her own. Cherishing fond memories of those she loves, she strives with all her being to realize her dreams as she continues her journey to adulthood. Despite her burdens, like most any youth, she enjoys relaxing in the company of friends and is partial to sweets-coffee biscuits most of all.
