Trivia

This armor set is based on the outfits of the main cast of Final Fantasy IX, in line with the numerous other FFIX references in the Dawntrail expansion.

• The Fending/Maiming gear is based on Steiner's outfit.
• The Striking/Scouting gear is based on Amarant's outfit. The scouting gear is colored after Zidane's outfit. The Tantalus Attire added much earlier in patch 3.15 is directly based on Zidane's outfit.
• The Aiming gear is based on Freya's outfit, although she is originally a Dragoon.
• The Healing/Casting head is based on Garnet's white mage hood disguise, not her base outfit. The boots, gloves, and legs are from Vivi's outfit.
