Master's Bestiary

The Master's Bestiary is a feature that allows players to keep track of tamed beasts (i.e. familiars) and their associated actions for beastmaster. It can be accessed from Main Menu > Character. There are 50 beasts that players can tame.

Beasts can be tamed from capturing certain enemies in the overworld or instanced duties, which can be done with an Unrestricted Party. Players must be at least the level of the enemy to capture the beast. Alternatively, some beasts—including all tamable from instanced duties—can be unlocked directly from using a Kornago Gourd.

Note: During release week, some of the listed locations below may appear devoid of enemies due to high demand. Alternative monster locations exist for several beasts, but the table below only shows the lowest-level or easiest-to-obtain enemies (i.e. no FATE enemies, levequests, elite marks, or instanced duty enemies when there are overworld sources). For a work-in-progress list of alternative enemies, see the bottom of the individual beast pages. Players who are having difficulty with enemy spawns can also consider traveling to a less-populated world.
