Ishgardian Restoration
“With the Dragonsong War brought to its conclusion, the Houses of Lords and Commons have approved large-scale reconstruction works aimed at revitalizing the Holy See of Ishgard. The principal site for the project is the Firmament district, which sustained extensive damage during the millennium-long conflict. Appointed overseer of this endeavor is the young Lord Francel of House Haillenarte, who now seeks able and willing artisans the realm over to contribute to this great and noble cause.
The Ishgardian Restoration was introduced in patch 5.1 as a content hub for Disciples of the Hand and Land during the Shadowbringers expansion. The goal of the restoration was to help reconstruct the Firmament, a district in Foundation that had yet to recover from the ravages of the Dragonsong War. Active construction took place from patch 5.1 until completion of the Firmament in patch 5.5. This time period included several competitive events in which players were ranked by the quality and quantity of items they submitted to the restoration, measured by their skyward score for a specific class. The top players in each server per DoH/DoL class were awarded with exclusive achievements and titles that are no longer obtainable.
While the competitive events are over, players can still submit items to the restoration. This provides an efficient means of leveling any DoH/DoL class from 20 to 80 (note that EXP is capped to 1,000 past level 80). However, with the release of Cosmic Exploration in patch 7.21, Ishgardian Restoration is no longer an optimal method in many cases, especially because players can level to 100 using Cosmic Exploration. One advantage that Ishgardian Restoration has is its lower Main Scenario progress requirement and availability on the Free Trial (Cosmic Exploration requires completion of 
Endwalker).
In addition, players can still earn exclusive rewards from spending 
Skybuilders' Scrips, which are obtained for turning in items, and the Kupo of Fortune. Players are also awarded skyward score points based on the items they turn in, which is associated with some achievements for accruing a sufficient number of points across different classes, notably the highly time-consuming 
Castle in the Sky, which rewards the 
Pteranodon mount. There is no cap on how many items a player can submit to the restoration.
Skyrise Celebration Fêtes are held multiple times a week in the Firmament and provide a large number of cosmetic rewards.
The Firmament's restoration also led to the construction of Empyreum, the Player Housing district of Ishgard. This district became available in the Endwalker expansion.

Overview
Although the reconstruction of the Firmament is complete, there is still demand for construction materials and supplies. Disciples of the Land are tasked with gathering these materials, which are used by Disciples of the Hand to craft any necessary supplies.
Speak with Aurvael in the Firmament (X:10.8 Y:14.0) to add the gathering spots for the latest chapter of the Ishgardian Restoration to your gathering log. These locations consist of those found in the Diadem, which contain materials used in all Ishgardian Restoration recipes.
Upon unlocking Ishgardian Restoration, Disciples of the Hand or the Land of at least level 20 or above may speak with Potkin in the Firmament (X:12.2 Y14.6) to have project-specific crafting recipes and gathering points added to their logs.
- Crafting recipes and gathering nodes can only be viewed by Disciples of the Hand/Land who have reached at least level 20.
- There are additional materials and recipes at levels 40, 60, 70 and 80. After 80, experience per item is capped at
1,000.
Before materials gathered in the Diadem can be used in crafting recipes, they must first be inspected by Flotpassant in the Firmament (X:10.8 Y:14.0). This will convert materials into "Approved" materials at a 1:1 ratio, which will also allow them to be tradable on the Market Board.
Products submitted to the restoration are always crafted as collectables. In addition to using the materials gathered from the Diadem, miscellaneous common crafting materials are also used to craft them.
Completed crafts can be delivered to Potkin in the Firmament (X:12.2 Y:14.6) in exchange for Skybuilders' Scrips and Experience. Higher collectability ratings will result in greater rewards.
- Your current skybuilders' scrip total can be viewed from the Currency window.
When sufficient supplies were stockpiled when construction was still ongoing, a collaborative task known as a concerted work would had been scheduled. The details of upcoming works would had been found on the skybuilders' board.
- The restoration effort was carried out independently on each World, and as such the stockpile was also managed separately. You cannot enter the Firmament on a world other than your own.
Construction Phases
The restoration took place in four major phases, each focusing on a different area of the Firmament. At the end of construction, the DoH class that contributed the most for Phase IV in a given world was depicted in a Skybuilders' Monument located at (X:10.1, Y:11.2). Worlds that were implemented after the Restoration was complete in patch 5.5 do not have a monument in their Firmament. See the Firmament page for a detailed overview of each phase.
Skybuilders' Item Grades
Each construction phase was associated with a different grade of gathered materials and crafted items. When a new phase began, the previous grade of items was depreciated and most raw materials of that grade could no longer be gathered from the Diadem.
Grade 4 items are permanently available and can be submitted for Skybuilders' Scrips, EXP, and skyward score. Grade 2 and 3 items can still be submitted but provide negligible rewards. Most grade 2 and 3 crafted items cannot be obtained in a renewable manner, as the raw materials needed to craft them have been removed from the Diadem. However, materials needed to craft artisanal grade 2 and 3 items are still obtainable through gathering in the Diadem. These can be used for achievements such as 
The Height of Carpentry and 
Miners of a Feather.
Only grade 4 artisanal collectables contribute a significant number of skyward score points for crafters. These, and other artisanal collectables, are synthesized using expert crafting, making them more challenging to craft than normal recipe items. However, with sufficient stats in level 90+ gear, it is possible to complete these crafts with high collectability using fixed macros like one would use for non-expert recipes.

Skybuilders' Scrips you earn can be taken to Enie in the Firmament (X:12.0 Y:14.0), who will offer you a selection of wares in exchange.

Concerted Works
Concerted works were collaborative tasks that saw Disciples of the Hand and Land join forces to rebuild a certain part of the Firmament.
Concerted works began automatically when the appointed hour arrives.
Depending on the objective of the works, participants were required to perform various tasks, such as transporting and processing materials and erecting structures.
Skybuilders' Board
On the skybuilders' board, situated in the Firmament (X11.4 Y:14.1), players would have found information such as reconstruction status and the details of upcoming concerted works, when construction was still ongoing.
When the progress bar was filled, the works were completed, and skybuilders' scrips and experience points were awarded based on contribution.
Completed works ushered in a small change to the Firmament. As the restoration effort progressed, opportunities arose to participate in large-scale works that brought about dramatic changes.
