Bockman, a wandering revenant trapped in the corporeal realm, has reclaimed his legendary suit of armor and now waits silently near the Tam-Tara Deepcroft for any who would challenge him. Not only does the undead knight brandish a massive blade capable of incapacitating multiple victims in one fell stroke, but when threatened, Bockman will summon his decaying minions from the pits of the seventh hell.

Defeat the restless soul, and send him back to the Lifestream where he may, at long last, find peace.

— In-game description

Under the Armor is a level 10 guildhest introduced in patch 2.0. It intends to teach basic group mechanics.

Objective

Defeat Bockman and his hells-spawned minions!

As Bockman sustains damage, he will summon ashkin to fight at his side. Those tasked with the protection of the party (gladiators, paladins, etc.) should focus on directing enmity away from their companions. The more enemies there are on the battlefield, the higher the chance for party casualties. Those who excel in dealing damage (archers, pugilists, etc.) should focus on taking out the ashkin as soon as they appear. Bockman, a wandering revenant trapped in the corporeal realm, has reclaimed his legendary suit of armor and now waits silently near the Tam–Tara Deepcroft for any who would challenge him.

Guide

Players are required to defeat the mini-boss Bockman.

Throughout the fight, Bockman spawns adds in the forms of Magicked Bones and Zombie Mage. Players are intended to manage these adds by killing them as soon as they spawn. Bockman also has a cleaving attack that damages all party members in an arc in front of him. Non-tank members of the party should stay away from the front of the boss.

Note that only Bockman needs to be defeated to complete the duty. If there is enough damage on Bockman, the tank can hold the adds and DPS can burn down the boss. Alternatively, the adds can be put to sleep with Repose or Sleep with Bockman defeated before the first add wakes up.

In most Duty Finder groups, the tank will take Bockman's aggro and then pull him outside (to the start of the Guildhest at the top of the steps), while DPS ignore the adds and focus all damage on the boss. The team's damage tends to be high enough that Bockman will die before the adds pose any significant danger (or arrive at the start at all).

This is most likely the quickest-to-complete duty in the game, and as such, is commonly used to "farm" Player Commendations by queuing as  Tank or  Healer.

Dialogue

The stronger of your allies would be wise to draw the enemy's attention away from the weaker.
Those allies specialized in dealing damage will find their attacks more effective when dealt from the enemy's flank or rear.
Reinforcements! Move to intercept!
Another wave! But unlike the last!
The guildhest is complete! Come and collect your reward.
The operation was a success! Here's your payment, and for your efforts, I've thrown in a little extra, so that you may consider returning to aid us once again.
