Lore

"The Steppe is full of enemies. This is why we must embrace newfound friends."

The forty-seven-year-old khan of the Dataq was blessed with his parents' foresight and further honed his survival instincts through decades spent in the saddle. On the exceedingly rare occasion he knows not the best course of action, he consults the shagai--dice fashioned from the bones of livestock. In this way, he can hearken to the whispers of the old gods, much like the Mol through their ugdan. A peerless horseman skilled with both blade and bow, he can act as both hunter and warrior as circumstances require, and is admired by all as a consummate leader.
