Elusive Jump is an action unlocked by questing at level 35. It is available for Dragoon.

Notes

• Unlike   Winged Glide, this action does not require a target - instead, it is dependent on your character's facing direction. Therefore, this can be used to gain "forward" distance by turning your character around first, then using it.
• Despite the animation being a jump, the game actually slides the user's collision/hitbox along the ground. Therefore, this action cannot clear obstacles that require "real" jumping.

History

• Patch 7.1 (2024-11-12): The additional effect "Grants Enhanced Piercing Talon" has been added with a duration of 15 seconds.
• Patch 6.1 (2022-04-12): Action animation has been shortened.
• Patch 5.0 (2019-07-02):
  • The additional effect "Reduces enmity by half" has been removed.
  • The effect removing Heavy and Bind effects has been removed.
  • Can no longer be executed while bound.
• Patch 4.05 (2017-07-17): Recast time has been reduced from 60 to 30 seconds.
