Sonic Boom is an action unlocked at level 1. It is available for Blue Mage.
Flavor Text
A favored technique of the zu, who are able to perform it with a particularly vigorous flap of the wing, Sonic Boom produces a gust of wind-aspected aether so finely compressed that its lethality is oft likened unto that of a finely crafted blade.

Acquisition Tips
- Recommended to learn from the level 59 Anzu enemies in the Sea of Clouds. This attack doesn't have a visible cast bar. You will know that the monster already used it because you will have a debuff called Windburn.
Other Tips
- This action is blue mage's most reliable "filler" spell due to its range and short cast time, allowing one ability to be weaved afterwards.
