Esugen
Esugen of the Oronir is an Au Ra found in The Azim Steppe. He is a minor character released with the Stormblood expansion. Like most of the Oronir tribe he belongs to, Esugen resides at the Dawn Throne and can usually be found beside a lit fire and cooking pot. A handful of side quests reveal more about his story.

““There is no greater joy than cooking for me.”
In the forty years he has lived, this humble culinarian has yet to win a single match in the Azim Bökh[1], and consequently has ever been considered the least radiant. While others are permitted to hunt and fight, he has been forced to remain within the safety of the encampment and prepare food for his brothers and sisters. However, this led him to discover his true calling, for he is a master of Oroniri cuisine, and even capable of replicating the recipes of other tribes.
