One of many ordnance weapons proposed to outfit the newly reestablished Grand Companies of the late Sixth Astral Era, its name can mean either “club” or “shepherd’s staff.” The petals of the ivory trillium atop Alkalurops will open when the staff is taken up by a conjurer, a rapid accumulation of ambient aether spurring the bud to blossom.
