Six-sided Star is an action unlocked at level 80. It is available for Monk.

Related traits

• Melee Mastery II (Lv. 94) - Increases the potency of Twin Snakes to 420, Demolish to 360, Dragon Kick to 320, Six-sided Star to 780, and Phantom Rush to 1,500.

Notes

• Potency is 710 until Melee Mastery II is learned at Lv. 94.
• This action activates the global cooldown for four seconds (without improvements to skill speed beyond Greased Lightning). This is an option to disengage from an enemy while also keeping the global cooldown "rolling", making it the equivalent of a "ranged" option for monk.
  • Because this action also consumes all chakra, Forbidden Meditation or Enlightened Meditation, and Form Shift may be executed while out of range, keeping the global cooldown rolling for longer amounts of time.
  • It is important to note that, as ranged options on melee jobs, Six-sided Star and The Forbidden Chakra are still weaker compared to monk's other weaponskills during uptime.
• Monks may still execute Six-sided Star prior to the following unconventional scenarios:

• Executing Limit Break.
• A boss is defeated, or as the last GCD before forced downtime (i.e. the boss becomes untargetable).
