An aspiring swordsmith of nineteen summers who hails from the realm of Suenokuni in Hingashi. Having admired the work of her father -the master artisan Shinto- since she was but a child, she wished for nothing more than to become his apprentice, a request he summarily denied. Not one to abandon her dream so easily, Sekka journeyed west to Limsa Lominsa and joined the Blacksmiths' Guild, in the hopes of honing her skills to the point that her father would deem her worthy. It is there she met Forgemaster Brithael and his number one protégé, with whom she developed a friendly rivalry that fostered her growth as both a blacksmith and a person. Prone to overreacting, it would seem she has developed romantic feelings for Brithael, much to the guildmaster's chagrin. She has been known to ease her frustration by partaking in the Hingan delicacy of sushi.
