Journal
- Lady Laniaitte is waiting anxiously for something.
- Lady Laniaitte tells you a small unit was dispatched to survey Ok' Gundu but has yet to report back. Fearing for their safety, she asks that you scour the area and see what has delayed their return.
- You come upon three wayward knights among the ruins of an old building, but as you draw closer, you also find the Vanu that assaulted them. Defeat the Vanu and ensure the safety of Lady Laniaitte's men.
- You defeat the Vanu, and the knights appear none the worse for wear. Report to Lady Laniaitte of what transpired.
- Lady Laniaitte is relieved to know her knights are safe. As she would tell it, the ruins where you discovered her knights were once home to the Gundu tribe until they were subjugated by the Vundu.

Accepting the quest
Three of my men were sent to survey the area around Ok' Gundu sometime last night/early this morning/earlier this afternoon, and I have yet to hear word from them. A routine check shouldn't have taken this long.
Forename, may I ask you to travel to this location on your map and see what has delayed them? If they've met with trouble, I would be at ease knowing you are there to help them.

We thought the building abandoned... We were too careless...

We never expected to find Vanu hiding in a desolate, broken building. Thank Halone you were here to help us.

You've returned safely, thank goodness. Did you find my men? Were they unharmed?
Oh, thank goodness. That the Vanu would take refuge there is strange indeed. It was once home to the Gundu tribe. They were a peace-loving people, and for a time we maintained favorable relations.
That is, until the Vundu attacked. Now the Gundu are under the heel of their rule. But let us not dwell on such sorrowful memories of yesterday. Today you have saved my men, and for that, you have my thanks.
