The contents of a book may be immutable, yet depending upon one's perspective, the lesson one learns may be different indeed. In other words, I am very much in favor of revisiting a story one has already read!

Lore

"Wh-What I mean to ask is, have you brought any books with you!? A rumpled scroll, even? A scrap of scribbled-on parchment...?"

Head librarian of the Cabinet of Curiosity, this Crystarium native has been an avid reader since he learned his letters. Perhaps the previous head librarian saw potential in the young, wide-eyed Hume who frequented the Cabinet more days than not, but the course of Moren's life would be shaped by the ardent proclamations of his predecessor. To ensure the future of Norvrandt by sharing its knowledge—it was this creed to which Moren would dedicate himself, lending out rare books most archivists would sequester, and proactively scheduling reading circles for younglings. Over his thirty-one years as a student of life, Moren has cultivated the uncanny ability to determine the origin and age of any tome simply by appraising its binding. Currently, the most vexing issue to plague his halls of knowledge are the patrons who carelessly shove books into shelves without regard to their proper filing.
