Mehvan was a young woman of twenty-four summers who resided in Palaka's Stand. When the Final Days threatened to engulf Thaynair, she attempted to flee the village with her babe in tow, but met her end at the Font of Maya. For a mercy, she did not succumb to the despair that saw others transform into blasphemous beasts, and her infant daughter was thus spared, protected by her mother's loving embrace to the last.
