Manafication is an action unlocked by questing at level 60. It is available for Red Mage.

- Despite having a shorter cooldown than
Embolden, this action should be used in conjunction with it as to always have an enchanted blade combo available for bursts, or ideally to properly prepare for two enchanted blade combos for bursts.
- This action can be used off of cooldown – especially during downtime – if executing it outside of raid buffs will allow for additional usages of this action within the fight timeline, typically only for higher-end duties.
- This action temporarily increases the range of red mage's enchanted melee combo, allowing them to properly execute their 2-minute burst even during mechanics that force them away from melee range.
- The enchanted melee and ranged combo are two separate combos; Manafication can be executed after the enchanted melee combo (i.e. after
Enchanted Redoublement), without cancelling the ranged combo beginning with 
Verflare and 
Verholy.
History
Patch 7.4 (2025-12-16):
- In accordance with the rework of Enhanced Manafication (which is now the previous "Enhanced Manafication III"), recast time has been reduced from 120 to 110 seconds.
- Now temporarily increases the ranges of Enchanted Riposte, Enchanted Zwerchhau, and Enchanted Redoublement to 25 yalms.
- The additional effect "Grants 6 stacks of Manafication" has been changed to "Grants 3 stacks of Magicked Swordplay." The duration remains at 30 seconds.
- The additional effect "Grants Prefulgence Ready upon consuming 6 stacks of Manafication" has been changed to "Grants Prefulgence Ready." The duration remains at 30 seconds.
- Patch 7.05 (2024-07-30): Effect duration of Magicked Swordplay has been increased from 15 to 30 seconds.
- Patch 7.01 (2024-07-16): Increased magic effect duration has been increased from 15 to 30 seconds.
- Patch 7.0 (2024-07-02):

- The Manafication effect "Increases magic damage dealt by 5%" has been added.
- The duration has been increased from 10 to 15 seconds.

- The additional effect which resets recast timers now also affects Engagement.
- The additional effect "Increases magic damage dealt by 5%" has been added upon learning the Enhanced Manafication trait.
