Mervyl's twenty-two-year-old daughter, Hurielle, used to help her father with his fishing until she succumbed to crysteosis, an illness which greatly restricted her activities. Frithrik realized this was the result of an unbalanced diet, suggesting she expand her palate to include prospero eels and the like, and Hurielle's symptoms soon improved dramatically.
