A Drahn of but nine summers with a particular fondness for nectarines, Halric once resided in a mountain village near Amh Araeng, While he and his mother foraged for food, the pair was set upon by sin eaters, leaving the latter dead and the boy severly[sic] injured. Upon realizing Halric was starting to turn, a fellow villager brought him to the Inn at Journey's Head, where Tesleen treated him with the utmost care. Although his affliction has stunted his emotions, Halric was once a cheerful, expressive lad, and there is hope that the treatment regimen provided by Alisaie and Beq Lugg will see him restored to his former self.
