Additional Information
Your Company Chocobo is the same bird as your Chocobo Companion, and therefore any appearance changes to its color or barding will effect both. Any racing chocobo you may own is a different bird.
The Company Chocobo functionally replaced the Personal Chocobo from Legacy, and inherited the Chocobo Whistle summoning item. The 
Legacy Chocobo was added as a loyalty reward to represent that older bird.
