“A counter-primal weapon of unparalleled might, the Ultima Weapon is a relic of ancient Allag discovered deep beneath Gyr Abania in a nigh-forgotten, ruin-sized site. Through the ingenuity of Nero tol Scaeva, it was restored to working order and made battle-ready, but dark rumors surround its source of power, the Heart of Sabik, which some claim was gifted from the Ascians.

Lore
“This ancient weapon, discovered in Gyr Abanian ruins, was only partially restored. Nero tol Scaeva led the undertaking, and although his skill at reverse engineering was peerless, many Allagan contrivances confounded even his abilities. Therefore, the final product was not identical to the original, and had certain parts replaced by magitek technology. This compromise was necessary not only due to the difficulty of understanding the craftsmanship at work, but also due to the anticipated need for replacement parts that would inevitably arise after long-term operation of the Weapon.
Nevertheless, the Ultima Weapon was deployed to battle with great success, conquering Eorzea's primals and absorbing their essence for its own. One by one fell Ifrit, Lord of the Inferno; Titan, the Lord of Crags; and Garuda, Lady of the Vortex, each defeat solidifying the Ultima Weapon's claim to supremacy.
