m After running the Blue mage quests for the first time I wondered how I missed this one, after dozen and dozens of kills on the Hogs in East Shroud (Where the blue mage log literally tells you to go) I got nothing, 1 kill in the Fate "A Mother Scorned" and it was instant, as expected, so no idea why, or when this was changed, but until someone can prove it to me otherwise I don't see this as being true, or it has a condition which needs to be met and is not listed |

Bristle is an action unlocked at level 1. It is available for Blue Mage.

Instinctive to beastkin, Bristle channels sheer animalistic rage into heightened spiritual and physical power. The blue mage will find that she can adapt this technique to increase her spells' potency.

Other Tips
- Specifically cannot be stacked after you have used
Whistle. - Bristle's buff is called "Boost".
- Only affects the potency of spells (i.e. actions on the global cooldown/GCD), not abilities.
- Pairs best with damage-over-time spells or spells with long recast times, as the relative potency gain can then exceed 220 (the standard potency of blue mage GCD actions).
