He originates from the same sleepy hamlet as Edgyth Finewater. He came to resent the confines of life there, and so set off in search of treasure and adventure. At the invitation of Midnight Dew, a colleague he met during a sojourn in Ul’dah, he took part in an expedition to the Dravanian hinterlands, becoming one of the founding members of Idyllshire almost entirely by chance.
