Dickon is the proprietor of the Last Stand, having taken over from Mervyn, the café's founder. Previously a gleaner, the thirty-eight-year-old Highlander developed a passion for the culinary arts during his travels abroad. Of all the dishes he has sampled, however, nothing has remained with him as much as Mervyn's experimental Archon burger. Whenever he returned to Sharlayan, he would invariably head to the café to discuss food with the old man, their amicable exchanges occasionally turning into heated debates.
It must be noted that, while known best for his cuisine, Dickon also serves exceptional coffee. During her student days, Alisaie often sought him out for a chat, during which time she would enjoy a honey-and-caramel-infused brew he makes just for her..
