The loyal companion of Yojimbo and a good dog. As the ronin tells it, the two first met while they were wandering the wilderness alone, and in one another instantly found a kindred spirit. Ever since, they have been inseparable. A lovely story, perhaps, but given the nature of the dog’s owner, one cannot help but question its veracity. One thing is certain: Daigoro is enamored with koban, and will not hesitate to go bounding after one hurled into the air.
