Category:Raid buff actions
Raid buff actions (often called "raid buffs") are actions that increase a party's outgoing damage for a short amount of time. They generally have a cooldown of 120 seconds and last for 20 seconds.
Gameplay
Raid buffs are an essential part of combat gameplay, especially in high-difficulty content like Extreme Trials and Savage Raids. Because they can be beneficial to everyone in the party, their effects are strongest in Full Parties. Some common strategies have evolved to maximize the effects of raid buffs.
Types of raid buffs
Raid buffs can be divided into two different types:
Player buffs
Most raid buffs apply a buff to players in the party:
- Arcane Circle (3% damage increase)
- Battle Litany (10% critical hit rate increase)
- Battle Voice (20% direct hit rate increase)
- Brotherhood (5% damage increase)
- Divination (6% damage increase)
- Embolden (5% damage increase)
- Radiant Finale (2-6% damage increase)
- Searing Light (5% damage increase)
- Starry Muse (5% damage increase)
- Technical Finish (1-5% damage increase)
Enemy debuffs
Some raid buffs apply a debuff to one or more enemies. Currently, the only examples of this are:
- Chain Stratagem (10% critical hit rate increase)
- Mug (5% damage increase)
- Dokumori (5% damage increase, can hit multiple enemies)
This type of raid buff has a big advantage in content with more than 8 players like Alliance Raids or Field Operations because it benefits everyone targeting the debuffed enemy or enemies, which can be significantly more than 8 players.
