“"Oh, what I wouldn't give to chase the wind and touch the sky... TO BE AN AMARO!!!"
The resident veterinarian and overseer of the Facet of Nourishing. Whilst he is an avid member of the shoebill appreciation society, Bethric spends the majority of his time at Temenos Rookery tending to the amaro, and most would be surprised to learn that this jolly Galdjent of thirty-six summers was once a hardened sellsword. His road to becoming a veterinarian was a grim one. An amaro leapt to Bethric's defense as he fled a sin eater, sustaining serious wounds in the process. In attempting to treat his savior, he accidentally took its life by giving it medicine not intended for animals. This episode still scars Bethric, and he is yet unable to administer medicine with his own hands.
