At thirty-six years of age, this Hyur is chief foreman of the Ishgardian restoration effort. Augebert was born into the service of House Haillenarte, entering its knightly order when he was a boy of scarce ten and five summers. After losing his right eye in battle to dragons, however, he would relinquish the front line to join the engineers. Having mastered the fundamentals of his profession, he elected to assist Lord Francel, who was overseeing the restoration works in Ishgard. Augebert had known Francel since the latter's earliest childhood, and conspired to encourage the young lordling to see the reconstruction through to completion. He also knew Francel had long dreamed of establishing an orchestra, and thus when it was suggested a commemorative concert be held in the lord's honor, Augebert devoted all his spare time to rigorous practice of the cello.
