Steps

• Inspect the derelict Talos and defeat any threats that appear.

• Speak with Eueliss.

• Speak with Eueliss.

Journal

• Eueliss appears ready to accept Sai-Lewq's next task.

• Eueliss asks Sai-Lewq for his second task─a duty which apparently involves a slow-footed Talos. Follow her lead, and help free the Talos in question from any bothersome predators.

• You have inspected the derelict Talos, and dealt with the pests which infested its interior. Eueliss waits nearby with a look of resignation...

• Eueliss briefly explains the decline of Talos in the region, and how the rusted specimen you inspected─a favorite of Sai-Lewq's─was damaged to the point where it would never move again. With nothing more to be done, you turn back towards Stonegazer.

• Sai-Lewq appears well pleased by your actions in aiding his dear Talos. Eueliss, too, thanks you for your assistance, and hopes that you will stay to help with whatever other confounding errands the old man has in store.

Eueliss: Sai-Lewq, sir, I believe you had more tasks for me? 

Sai-Lewq: Hm? Still here, are you? Yes, yes, tasks...
Sai-Lewq: There's a Talos of mine that's taking far too long to make its return. Probably busy tussling with some dim-witted predator. Go and see how it fares, and chase off anything slowing it down. 

Eueliss: But, all the─ Ah, you mean that Talos...
Eueliss: Pray follow my lead, [Forename].
Eueliss: We'll find the Talos in question to the southwest of here. And I've no doubt there'll be “dim-witted predators” aplenty for you to deal with.

Sai-Lewq: <sigh> 

Eueliss: Here's the Talos Sai-Lewq was talking about. I think something's made a nest in there...

Speaking with Eueliss (Cutscene)

Eueliss: Phew, I'm glad you were here! They must have burrowed in beneath the plates.
Eueliss: I know Sai-Lewq implied the Talos was still moving, but as you can see...
Eueliss: Once upon a time there'd be a line of these contraptions hauling materials down to the shipyard, step by ponderous step. Which incidentally, is how the “Slowroad” supposedly earned its name.
Eueliss: But after Daedalus Stoneworks closed down some fifteen summers ago, there was no one left to make or maintain their creations. One by one, the Talos slowly fell into disrepair...
Eueliss: This particular worker was damaged during that stray eater rampage, and it hasn't shifted an ilm ever since. It was always Sai-Lewq's favorite.
Eueliss: ...Come, let us make our report.

Eueliss: Sai-Lewq, sir, [Forename] has cleared away the pests who were bothering your Talos. 
Eueliss: It should be left alone for the time being...

Sai-Lewq: Ah, excellent news! But I expect he'll need a good polishing when he returns─the most troublesome ones are often the most endearing, eh?

Eueliss: Oh, sir...

Sai-Lewq: You've done me a fine service, thank you!

Eueliss: Indeed, thank you, [Forename]─I never could have fought such creatures myself. If I might impose upon you for the next task as well...?

魔物に襲われているのかもしれん。
ちょっと様子を見て、助けてやってくれないか？

ユーリス
あのタロースは············！
い、いえ······。

ユーリス

ユーリス
タロースとは、かつて荷運びように造られた巨大な人形······。
ここから南西にある、「古びたタロース」付近を調べましょう。
もし、魔物が潜んでいたら、討伐していただけますでしょうか。

おじ様がおっしゃっていたのは、このタロースです。
魔物の気配は······。

ユーリス
討伐いただきありがとうございます！
タロースの裏に巣食っていたのでしょうか······助かりました。

ユーリス
この子が、サイーリュクおじ様が言っていたタロースです······。

ユーリス
かつてこの道には、造船所へと資材を運ぶ、
「荷運びタロース」が列をなして歩いていたものですから、
あゆみが遅くなる「スローロード」なんて呼ばれていたのだとか。

ユーリス
しかし、１５年前······タロースの製造や保守を担っていた、
ダイダロス社が廃業してからは、状況が変わりました。
使えるタロースも、次第に減っていき······

ユーリス
１年前のはぐれ罪喰いの襲撃で破損し、
とうとうこの子も動かなくなってしまったのです······
この子は、サイーリュクおじ様が可愛がっていたタロースでした。

ユーリス
······さあ、サイーリュクおじ様に報告に参りましょう。

ストーンゲイザーのユーリスと話す

ううっ······畜生······畜生······。

ユーリス
