Notes
Dyes
Dual dyes wereadded in patch 7.3.
- Dye channel 1: the flames on the sleeves, the color of the undershirt, and the bright line in the trim.
- Dye channel 2: the black part of the jacket, and the darker parts of the trim.
The meteor symbol on the front, the Ifrit image on the back, and the white part of the sleeves, are all not affected by dye.
Historical
This jacket debuted in the Chinese version in 2017, as a collaboration with a fashion brand. Players could purchase a bundle containing a physical version of the jacket, as well as a code to redeem the in-game jacket and several in-game dyes[1]. This bundle received a second run in 2018[2]. The virtual jacket returned again in 2020, as a bonus item bundled with physical jackets based on Hydaelyn and Zodiark as seen in 
The Qitana Ravel murals[3].
The Korean version later added the virtual jacket to their version of the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store.[4]
The global version added the jacket in 2021, after it was "unlocked" by a challenge in the Japanese community live stream series "How do You like Hydaelyn?"[5]. Teams in the challenge were tasked with learning all of the available spells for Blue Mage, and upon their success, the jacket was be added to Moogle Treasure Trove: The Hunt for Lore as one of the rewards.
