Government of Tuliyollal

From Final Fantasy XIV Online Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The government form of Tuliyollal shows traits of a federal elective monarchy, though it is never referred like this. The leader is determined by The Rite of Succession.

Determination of Rulership

The title of the ruler is the "Dawnservant"[1]. Tuliyollal is ruled by the founding father Gulool Ja Ja, who united the people under one banner and founded the nation of Tuliyollal. The position as head of state is not strictly herediatry, and the next ruler is determined by a number of feats that are similar to Gulool Ja Ja's own journey founding the nation - the Rite of Succession[2]. There was a contest to give away one additional place in the rite[3]. The nature of this contest is unknown.

Leaders

Since Blessed Siblings are two individual consciousnesses in one, both of them take a position as "Vow of Reason" and "Vow of Resolve".

In taking example of her father's reign, Wuk Lamat continued to split the leadership of Tuliyollal in two. She is the "Vow or Resolve", while Koana is the "Vow of Reason".

Ruling Body

It is unknown if there is a seperate ruling body to the Dawnservant.

Council Members

It is not known if there are council members or advisors that support the Dawnservant in political agendas.

Additional Information

The name of the nation and the capitol city are the same[4]. Tuliyollal has a diverse demographic and community, stretching over the continents of Yok Tural and Xak Tural[5]. It is honored when Gulool Ja Ja took an abandoned temple of the Yok Huy as a palace for the nation[6]. All people are equal in Tuliyollal[7].

The markets are overseen by the Pelupelu, who also introduced the national currency, the pel[8]. The Landsguard are the military forces of the nation and are commandered by the strongest warrior of Tuliyollal. For a time, this was Gulool Ja Ja, before his son Zoraal Ja took over the position of commander[9].
