A Sharlayan youth of twenty-two summers, Ejika devoted himself to his studies that he might overcome his humble origins. His dedication caught the eye of Galuf Baldesion, whose endorsement ensured the boy entered the Studium on scholarship. He received his education at the same time as Krile Baldesion and the Leveilleur twins, for whom he harbored no small resentment. After graduation, Ejika was approached by numerous organizations, but ultimately chose to cast his lot with the Students of Baldesion, whose eponymous founder he deeply admired. Despite being recognized as an Archon of Sharlayan for his knowledge of destructive magicks and aetherology, he refuses to think of himself as unique or exceptional, and dresses to conceal the Archon brand on his back.
