Description
Blood skippers will use a set of highly developed pelvic fins to periodically "walk" forth from their pools in search of new homes. Such a journey from the water's protective depths would normally leave a creature exposed to land-dwelling predators. Fortunately for the blood skipper, the extreme toxicity of its flesh discourage all but the most hungry.
