Born around the time that a single seed had grown to an entire forest, Bismarck now inhabits the lake known as the Source. As he shares numerous similarities to the primal worshiped by the Vanu Vanu on our own star, it is possible that the two share roots in a single concept conceived by the ancients.
The First's Bismarck is primarily known to Lakeland residents as the Isle of Ken, for trees and shrubs adorn his back, and only once in living memory has he moved. According to regional folklore, the eponymous Ken was a man of unknown origins who dwelled upon Bismarck before the Flood. Though the great whale never learned the common tongue, Ken spoke with him in fae, and the two developed an irreplaceable friendship.
