Once a proud Garlean patriot, Arnegis was so troubled by the treatment of the conquered Corvosi that he began to aid them in secret. His actions eventually came to light, however, and he was forced to flee with his wife. After arriving in Eorzea, the forty-two-year-old joined the Lemures out of gratitude to Drusilla, who had taken them in, and posed as a Highlander as he carried out his duties for the order, including selling ceruleum in Ul'dah. Sadly, he met his end when he was murdered by the voidsent Orcus while investigating the villain's crimes.
