- Strolling through the Starlight Celebration festivities in Gridania, you encounter Amh Garanjy, enthusiastic Starlight celebrant. The market at the Starlight Stalls is a roaring success─so much so, that the celebrants are too busy to attend to their planned provision of mulled punch. In need of a capable pair of hands, Amh Garanjy entreats your aid in ensuring the warm and festive beverages are available for the festivalgoers. Thankful for your willing assent, she bids you join her at the Starlight Stalls, which you may travel to by speaking with the Starlight Stalls guide at Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre. ※ Please note that you will be unable to complete this quest after the seasonal event has ended. For details, please check the Lodestone.
- You have arrived at the Starlight Stalls, located on Gridania's outskirts, where you catch sight of Amh Garanjy. You make your way over to her to hear further details on the planned punch.※ In the event that you leave the Starlight Stalls, you may return by speaking with the Starlight Stalls guide at Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre.
- Speaking with Amh Garanjy and Mother Miounne, you learn of the plan to create three separate types of kinderpunsch to represent Gridania, Limsa Lominsa, and Ul'dah─each to be served in an appropriately decorated festive mug. Miounne is still unsure of the best blends to encapsulate the other cities, but there are doubtless some experts on regional cuisine among the visitors to the Gridanian markets. Working your way around the stalls, you keep an eye out for anyone who may be able to furnish you with advice and inspiration for the mulled punch recipes.
- You have acquired some useful pointers from several visitors to Gridania, which you are eager to share with Amh Garanjy in Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre.
- Brimming with inspiration, Amh Garanjy sets about making arrangements to procure the required ingredients. Amhgaranjy: The Starlight Celebration is a festival that finds its origins in an old Ishgardian tale, and is all about granting the wishes of children. And I'm delighted to say that this year's Celebration offers joy and merriment to all, regardless of age, as we once again host our festive market: the Starlight Stalls! Amhgaranjy: The Starlight celebrants are pleased to be working with the fine folk at the Carline Canopy to provide kinderpunsch, a kind of mulled punch, to our guests. It was a great success last Starlight—for what could be better than perusing the stalls, warm drink in hand? Amhgaranjy: Though we had hoped to try something new for the stalls this Starlight. Alas, while it is a blessing to have so many merrymakers enjoying the market, it means all the celebrants are busy attending to our guests, leaving none available to attend to our plans for the punch. Amhgaranjy: And so, I must ask whether I could prevail upon your assistance, my dear adventurer. Amhgaranjy: Oh, thank you for your kindness!If I could ask you to join me in the Starlight Stalls, I shall explain the particulars. Amhgaranjy: Pray speak to the Starlight Stalls guide, who will gladly escort you.I will see you anon, by the Carline Canopy stall!

Amhgaranjy: Once again, thank you for your assistance.I sent word to Mother Miounne of the Carline Canopy, and she will be joining us forthwith. Once she arrives, we'll provide all the information you should require.
Miounne: Well now, who have we here? You certainly have an eye for talent, Amh. I take it you're the adventurer she's roped in to help? Miounne: And after you did such fine work for the last festival, too.Thanks to you, our kinderpunsch is the talk—and drink—of the town in Starlight season! Miounne: As Amh Garanjy may have mentioned, the Carline Canopy serves kinderpunsch─a warm, sweet drink made by simmering spices in fruit juice. Last Starlight Celebration, we handed it out in mugs with a Gridanian design. Miounne: The other day, I happened to mention the initiative to my fellow guildmasters. They near jumped at the chance to have Limsa Lominsa and Ul'dah represented, as you can see from our new-and-improved lineup! Miounne: The mugs are decorated with local vistas and motifs─a grand ship on the Lominsan mug, and a cactuar on the Ul'dahn mug, for example. And of course, some Starlight decorations have been worked into the designs for a festive touch.
Amhgaranjy: Since we have such wonderful new mugs, it seems only right to use them to hand out three different types of kinderpunsch!
Miounne: For the Gridanian punch, we've juiced apples harvested here in the Black Shroud and gently simmered it with complementary flavors including blood currants, herbs and cinnamon. Miounne: Personally, I'm of the mind that we may as well go the full malm with the Lominsan and Ul'dahn punch and create a signature drink from the produce and tastes of the cities. I've just been mulling over what ingredients to use…
Amhgaranjy: And therein lies our request!
Joultain: Hello! Could we get some mulled punch, please? Joultain: Hold on, are those new mug designs!? Woah! Joultain: Are these other cities!? What are they like? I wanna hear all about them!
Amhgaranjy: Patience, my dear Joultain!We're presently preparing some kinderpunsch that recreates local flavors from these very cities, so if you can but give us a little time, I promise that we'll provide a tour for your tastebuds! Amhgaranjy: Haha, it seems as though the little ones are looking forward to our enterprise as well. And what a healthy appetite for learning about new lands! Amhgaranjy: Well then, it falls to us to create Lominsan and Ul'dahn punch that lives up to those high expectations!And I have just the task for you, Forename. Amhgaranjy: Would you be so kind as to gather information on what ingredients we should use to best capture each city? Amhgaranjy: I daresay many visitors from across the realm stop by the shopping district when in Gridania. A seasoned adventurer such as yourself is sure to be able to identify those who hail from Limsa Lominsa and Ul’dah—and to coax out the relevant information! Amhgaranjy: Marvelous! Lominsanchef: Lominsan citrus is renowned far beyond the shores of Vylbrand and keeps scurvy─that bane of sailors─at bay. I ensure we always keep well stocked. Lominsanchef: Oh, did I neglect to mention? Head of procurement at the Bismarck, fine dining establishment in Limsa Lominsa, at your service. If you're looking for quality ingredients at a good price, happy to point you in the right direction! Lominsanchef: If you want to make mulled punch with a Lominsan twist, you can't go wrong with La Noscean citrus!
Uldahnlady: What’s that, you say? Ingredients prized in Ul’dahn cuisine? I could give you a standard answer—nopal, spices—but, oh, what a waste! Our culinary journeys should be an adventure! Uldahnlady: Ohoho! The harmonies of unexpected fusion and avant-garde ingredients… Why, it's a culinary Coliseum, with all the drama of a fierce bout! Uldahnlady: Ahh, simply sublime. It may be a little…stimulating for mere children, but us adults can appreciate a little experimentation─wouldn't you agree?
Uldahnmerchant: You want to make a drink to represent Ul'dah?Tea should be a good place to start. Us Ul'danhns can't get through the day without a good, strong brew! Uldahnmerchant: You'll always find it served up in the drinkeries of Ul'dah, whether you're there for a slap-up meal or just a sweet treat. I've heard tell that the sultana takes hers with the finest butter and honey, you know. Uldahnmerchant: Aside from tea, you have Thanalan specialties like vanilla, cloves, black pepper, and pearl ginger. The finest produce will part you from your gil like precious gems. Uldahnmerchant: If you're making a drink that represents Ul'dah, it needs to have some tea in it. Butter and spice would make good accents too!
Amhgaranjy: Welcome back, Forename.What did you discover? Amhgaranjy: But of course! What better to create a signature drink than local produce? I have taken the liberty of noting down the key ingredients, and I believe my fellow celebrants and I should be able to arrange procurement—pray leave it with us. Amhgaranjy: Once the kinderpunsch is ready, I wonder if you would do the honors and serve the punch to the children? Committee: No doubt we'll have a horde of children descend upon us as soon as we open. Committee: Gridania is in the Black Shroud, a deep forest that the elementals call home. The Carline Canopy kinderpunsch uses apple and cinnamon. You can almost taste the bounty of the forest! Committee: Limsa Lominsa is a port city thronging with ships bringing cuisine and culture from far-flung lands. Committee: The Lominsan kinderpunsch is made with citrus fruits from La Noscea, including lemons and oranges, in a fusion of flavor that calls to mind the mingling of different peoples in the city itself. Committee: Ul'dah is a sultanate, ruled by Sultana Nanamo Ul Namo. All kinds of exotic goods carried by merchant caravans from faraway lands line the stalls of the bazaar, while the nobility flock to luxurious seating in the Coliseum that gives them a fine view of the clashes between gladiators below. Committee: The Ul'dahn kinderpunsch is a sweet butter tea simmered with dried fruit and black pepper. It combines flavors fit for royalty with just a little hit of spice.
Child05231C: Um, I have a friend who used to live in Ul'dah. I want to know what his life was like back there. Do you have any mulled punch that could give me a taste of Ul'dah?
