Welcome
Hello Wolfstrike, welcome to the Final Fantasy XIV Wiki!
Before you take on your editing journey, please take the time to create your user page. This wiki offers a Community Portal (Accessible from the sidebar menu), which contains a plethora of information to get you started: Help Guide to learn about general wiki editing, Style Manual to learn about overall style, templates and our cool infoboxes, and much more!
The easiest way to communicate with wiki staff and other users is to use our Discord server.
As an anti-spam measure, you will need to make at least one edit prior adding any external links.
- Adding external links prior to making one edit will result in an automatic ban. If that happens, please contact wiki staff on our Discord to be unbanned.
If you want a quick start, check out our To-Do List.
Let us know if you need help with editing, page creation or anything else. I hope you have a great time here with us! - Moogle (talk)

Dialogue template
Hi, thanks for your recent dialogue addition!
Please use {{Dialogue}} to format any future quest dialogue you might add. We are currently switching to that from the old non-standard format.
Thanks! - Dr Agon (talk) 22:38, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- Heya, I took a look at it and found another page of a current quest of mine with dialogue missing.
- [A Request of One's Own]
- Outside of accepting the quest reward, instead of going back to see and note down both options in the last cutscene, is this the correct way?
- If so I will also update the previous one I did.

- Also to add to it, I did struggle greatly with it at first, especially while using the page editor instead of the source editor.
- Had to find a page that was done in this style to compare and clean up the text. Wolfstrike (talk) 17:19, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for your contribution!
- It looks good to me. Dialogue options are a bit annoying since you would either need to note the option you choose, replay it a an inn if available, or look up a video of the quest. I sometimes use Garland Tools to find the raw dialogue and infer what is likely to be the other option(s) as they do not have those mapped. - Dr Agon (talk) 20:06, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
