It is said that the master technologist Amon—engineer of Allagan emperor Xande the First’s resurrection some thousand years after his death—kept several of these fifth-rung voidsent as personal assistants to his research, too far consumed with paranoia to trust anyone from this realm. These troubadours not only appear to have understood Amon’s commands, but were able to communicate their own thoughts using the Allagan tongue. Though, Amon’s own reports claim that he was troubled by the voidsents’ penchant for fibbery.
