Flavor Text

Typhon's signature technique produces gale-force winds by propelling concentrated air through the nostrils─though mages recreate the gust externally, for the sake of nasal integrity. In addition to buffeting foes backward, it appears to have a detrimental effect on its target's mental state.

Tips

Acquisition Tips

  • The Dragon's Neck The Dragon's Neck: Snort is used by Typhon during the final phase of the fight - this is about 3~3.5min in, after the end of the second imp phase. Specifically, he casts "Snortsault" followed by Snort 4 times back-to-back in that phase. Note that "Severe Snort" or "Snortsault" (which appear in earlier phases) will not count towards the learning of the spell. It may be necessary to hold back damage output, as to not kill Typhon too early.
  • Miss Typhon Miss Typhon: Typhon will use it as part of a devastating Fireball combo. Use Diamondback Diamondback in order to survive this.
  • Lock up Your Snorters Lock up Your Snorters: Typhon uses this after the bombs drop every time.

Other Tips

  • A relatively useless spell. Objects that need to be knocked away can generally be pushed by any attack, not just ones with a knockback component. Objects that need to be moved without damaging them can be safely moved by using Sticky Tongue Sticky Tongue instead.
