Starting the quest

Kageel Ja: We've had markedly less trouble with wildlife since our Hoobigo brethren began guarding the gainery.

Kageel Ja:

  • (First time) They've become an irreplaceable part of our operations, and as such, we would like to provide what they need to keep their arms and armor maintained. Can I ask your help in procuring these supplies?
  • (Repeat) Speaking of which, they were most impressed with the repair supplies you procured for their weapons last time. Which is why I would like to ask you to do so again.

Kageel Ja:

  • (for Miner) I'm told the rock mined from around Cenote Jayunja makes perfect whetstones for honing and polishing the bone weaponry favored by our guards. Bring me a selection, and I'll see them into the right hands.
  • (for Botanist) I'm told the lumber harvested from trees around Cenote Jayunja is the perfect material for replacing hilts and handles and such. Bring me an armful, and I'll see it makes its way into the right hands.
  • (for Fisher) I'm told the shellfish caught in Cenote Jayunja are perfect for creating the intricate patterns that adorn our traditional weaponry. Take some golden stonefly nymphs for bait and you should have no trouble.

Chatting with Kageel Ja

Kageel Ja:

  • (for Miner) I'd like you to mine some rock around Cenote Jayunja. They should make the perfect whetstones for our Hoobigo's bone blades.
  • (for Botanist) I'd like you to harvest some lumber from the trees around Cenote Jayunja. It should be the perfect material for repairing or replacing weapon hilts and handles.
  • (for Fisher) I'd like you to catch shellfish from Cenote Jayunja. Golden stonefly nymphs should make for suitable bait, or so I've heard.

Turning in the quest

Kageel Ja: How did you fare? Were you able to find the materials we needed?

Kageel Ja: My thanks! I'm certain our Hoobigo friends will be as impressed with your eye for quality as I am.

Kageel Ja: Warriors are far more effective if they can keep their weapons in good repair. Such supplies will always be in demand, so I may call on your procurement expertise again in the future.
