Recruit a Friend Campaign

The Recruit a Friend Campaign aims to encourage players to invite their friends to play FFXIV. Existing players can generate recruitment codes, which can then be sent to friends interested in the game. When a friend purchases FFXIV and registers the recruitment code on Mog Station, exclusive rewards are awarded both to the recruiter and the recruit.

Starting in Heavensward (3.0), when players recruit friends to play FFXIV, they will earn Gold Chocobo Feathers. Feathers are earned for each friend recruited, as well as the number of days the friend has subscribed.

Heavensward features are retroactive, meaning that if you have recruited friends before the implementation of the feature, you will still receive your rewards.

How to Participate

Recruiter

In order to recruit a friend to the game, players must follow these steps:

Log into the Mog Station website.
Click on the "Home (Manage Your Account)" button at the top of the sidebar.
Scroll down the page, and click on the "Issue Recruitment Code" image/button.
A recruitment code will be displayed in large text on the page. Copy this code to a safe location, as a new code is generated every time the page is visited, and previously-issued codes cannot be viewed again.

Recruit

In order to be recruited to the game by a friend, recruits must follow these steps:

Receive a recruitment code from a friend that followed the steps for a Recruiter.
Log into the Mog Atation website.
Click on the "Your Account" tab.
Scroll down to "Registration Codes", and enter the recruitment code that was received.

Special Notes

Recruiters can only recruit one friend per 3 hours.
- Recruits, on the other hand, can only use one recruitment code on their account, total.
Recruitment codes are valid for 120 days after they are generated.
For Recruiters, only the first 5 recruits will reward Gold Chocobo Feathers immediately upon recruitment. It is still possible to recruit more friends after this, but at that point the only way to get more feathers is from subscription length.
All bonus items obtained through this campaign are account-wide. This means they can be redeemed on every character associated with the service account, including characters made in the future.

Recruiters will also receive rewards based on how long the friend with the longest subscription period has been subscribed.
These rewards are only awarded once per service account.
