This is based on one of the Grand Prize winners for the Black Mage category of the 2022 Weapon Design Contest. The design was made by ろくすけ (Rokusuke), and the original submission was titled "水蛇様ロッド" ("Mizu hebi-sama roddo", or Great Water Serpent Rod).
