Accepting the quest

Kageel Ja: The branchbearers are hard at work fighting the pests that plague our garden. I want to give them everything they need to thrive.

Kageel Ja: Fortunately, the forest has all the materials we require. Might I count on you for their retrieval?

Kageel Ja:

  • (for Miner) Thanks, [Forename]. I'd be much obliged if you could extract a few vials of energy-imbued water from mineral deposits near Cenote Neyozzote. They say that the water can bring out the best in a branchbearer's glow.
  • (for Botanist) Thanks, [Forename]. I'd be much obliged if you could gather young leaves from trees around Cenote Neyozzote. The soft foliage will provide comfortable beds for our friends.
  • (for Fisher) Thanks, [Forename]. I'd be much obliged if you could retrieve a waterweed fish from Cenote Moxutural. Branchbearers seem to love the things, perhaps due to the fish's affinity with algae. You'll have no trouble reeling one in using golden stonefly nymphs as bait.

Turning in the quest

Kageel Ja: Were you able to find what we need?

Kageel Ja: Ah, this is perfect! Thank you, [Forename]. The branchbearers will be delighted.

Kageel Ja: The way they chirp and flap their wings when receiving treats never fails to move my heart. Maybe it's an odd thing to say about an expressionless plant, but I think they're cute...

Kageel Ja: I'll do my best to deepen my understanding of the branchbearers so that we can provide the ideal habitat for them. I hope you'll continue to support our efforts!
