In a recent survey, we discovered that many ponds and water features in the region are home to small fishlike mechanisms that interface with the city's myriad systems. The current hypothesis is that these devices─akin to familiars in many regards─were introduced to preserve and maintain the water supply. Contributors are asked to gather samples for further study, paying special attention to collectability.
