Although known for its distinctively curving piers, the most prominent feature of the city's port is, without a doubt, the towering statue of Thaliak. Sharlayan's patron deity faces out towards the water, His eternal gaze watching over every vessel which arrives and departs by sea.

Landmarks

Cargo unloaded from arriving ships is stored here temporarily before being carried off to its final destination. Under the guildship's management, the peristyle also serves as a counter for assigning leves and hunts to dependable agents.

An eatery established by a pupil who quit the Studium in a rage, incensed by the tasteless meals prepared by an institution lauded for its research into nutrition and culinary arts. Scholar's Harbour

This spur of rock was where the eponymous Archon is purported to have sat when he had matters upon which to meditate. The famous anecdote encourages those frustrated by their studies to linger here in hopes of sudden revelation.

This path leads to the harbor's great statue of Thaliak. History tells of the philosophers who gathered here to espouse the merits of a reasoned ungoverned by passion, and are thus credited with the birth of the life word "stoic."

This colossal statue depicts Thaliak, patron deity of Sharlayan. A set of doors at its base lead into a chamber known as the Pathless Way, the interior of which is a mystery to any who has not been inducted into the ranks of the Archons.
