This former scholar of Akadaemia Anyder first met Sokles on a research trip to Elpis. So impressed was Sokles with Charmion's assessments that he immediately requested her transfer to Anagnorisis. Though she was surprised by the sudden invitation, Charmion recognized the opportunity for what it was and accepted, eager to study new concepts and gain firsthand knowledge of the latest innovations.
Sokles had not misjudged her abilities—Charmion quickly proved to be an invaluable addition. Though she had but recently arrived, veteran observers often joined Charmion on her excursions and took note of her findings. She went on to discover various flaws in the creations she attended that might not have been identified otherwise. Between her outings, Charmion made it a habit to visit Sokles, who she claimed made the freshest juice in all of Elpis.
